This week we are reflecting back on our collaboration with Racing Queensland, ahead of the upcoming Magic Millions Sales.

On the 9th of January 2024, Stridyl announced their innovative collaboration with Racing Queensland. Allowing more people access to our platform enables us to facilitate the sale of horses acquired from the prestigious 2024 Magic Millions Yearling Sale.  Empowering trainers and syndicates alike with our user-friendly platform, we can engage a wider audience. Cementing our belief that racehorse ownership can be accessible to everyone.

Firstly, it is an amazing opportunity to have support from a governing body such as Racing Queensland. Racing Queensland, like Stridyl, is doing what it can to help its trainers and syndicators reach new owners. Furthermore, Racing Queensland also understands the challenges in the current economic climate.

If you are based in Queensland and you want to take advantage of this offer, reach out today.

Currently on Board.

At the moment our Queensland-based supporters are Danny Bougoure, Viva Racing & Tony Gollan. With Peter Robl and Lee Freedman joining us next week.

Danny Bougoure boasts a glittering resume. He grew up in a racing family, surrounded by horses. He started training at 25, and not long after achieved black-type success. Thoroughbred Full Scope, won the Meynink Stakes at his first start.

Falvelon put Danny’s name on the map, undefeated as a two-year-old- he won his first seven starts. A dual Group 1 winner, Falvelon placed a further 8 times at Group 1 level. “He remains the only entire to have won the Group 1 Doomben 10,000 twice, he still holds the race record of 1.17.2 for his first win in 2001.”

Falvelon clinched the title of Queensland Horse of the Year an incredible four times. Twice he achieved Australian Champion Sprinter. Falvelon retired to stud with career earnings of over $4 Million, an Australian record for prize money earned by a sprinter at the time.

High Achiever

Danny Bougoure was inducted into the Doomben 10,000 Fraternity in 2014, for training champion Falvelon to win the Group One Doomben 10,000 consecutively. That same year, at the Queensland Racing Industry Awards, Falvelon was inducted into the Queensland Hall Of Fame for his performance on the track. In addition, Oakleigh Girl achieved Queensland Two-Year-Old of the Year.

Danny Bougoure is a horseman. This is evident by how well-conditioned and cared-for his horses are. The Gold Coast boutique stable trains each horse with personalised attention, focusing on their individual needs.

“Whilst there is never any guarantee of success one thing can be assured, if the horse is good enough, Danny Bougoure has proven that he is good enough to take the horse to the elite level.”

Danny’s owners are always very well catered for. They have regular updates alongside open days at the stables. By being a boutique size, owners can be really involved in their horse’s journey and can experience racehorse ownership to its full potential.

Available on our Ownership Market is a stunning colt by Better Than Ready x Louisiana Miss. To be trained by Danny Bougoure.
