Bio

Shares are now available in this well-related, athletic, handsome colt by Ole Kirk from October, who was an absolute bargain from the Inglis Classic Sales. He has a pedigree brimming with legendary Group winners, two-year-old speed and versatility, with his family winning from 1000m to 2400m, and is one not to be missed.

From the family of Black Caviar, his sire Ole Kirk (by Written Tycoon) was the Champion Three-year-old Colt in Australia and a sensation on the racetrack winning the Group 1 Golden Rose over 1400m and Group 1 MRC Caulfield Guineas over 1600m as a three-year-old, as well as being a two-year-old winner over 1100m before going on to place in the top two-year-old races in Sydney over 1400m to 1600m. This boy is from his first crop.

He is the third foal from, October (by Dream Ahead), who was unraced but has blue blood coursing through her veins and legendary relatives. Her 3rd dam Perruzzi won over 900m to 1400m, including a Group 2 and Group 3 in Sydney and Queensland, and is a full-sister to Group 1 Australian Derby Winner Don Eduardo and a three-quarter sister to the one and only Octagonal—ten-time Group 1 winner at two, three and four and Champion Australian Racehorse of the Year—two and three-year-old Group 1 winner Tristalove, three-time Group 1 winner Mouawad, dual Group 3 winner Shower Of Roses and Listed winners Antwerp and Lucida. Other notable relatives are Viscount, Kaapstad and Viking Ruler.

He was handpicked by International Bloodstock Consultant Paul Moroney and is a lovely strong and athletic type, with a smooth energetic action and an eye-catching grey tail. His pedigree suggests he has the potential to be early and versatile between 1200m to 1600m and possibly further into his three-year-old year.

He is eligible and will be nominated for the Inglis Race Series, which includes the $2,000,000 Inglis Millennium for 2yos and the $1,000,000 Inglis Sprint for 3yos, plus the $5,000,000 Inglis Xtra Bonus Series, which will see 50 Maiden races in NSW and Victoria incentivised with a $100,000 bonus to the winner. He is also eligible for the BOBS bonus in NSW.

This colt will be trained by Richard Litt at Warwick Farm in NSW, who trained Group 1 winners and now sires Castelvecchio and Profondo to multiple victories, and Listed winners Essonne, Morton’s Fork and Mr Marathon Man.
