This colt has a lovely fluid action and is by a leading NZ sire, Ocean Park – sire of this year’s QLD Derby winner, Kovalica.

Ocean Park has sired four Group 1 winners including 3 x Gr.1 winners Tofane, Kolding and this colt’s full brother, Ocean Billy. Among his other stakes winners is last year’s Melbourne Cup placed, High Emocean. Cool Storm was a very sound and tough racehorse having had 27 career starts for a listed win and a Gr.2 place. She has produced Gr.1 winner, Ocean Billy, from the same cross as this colt which has proven successful with 100% winners to runners, all of which are stakes winners.

He has a solid frame and will mature into a lovely 3YO type. Purchased from reputable breeders Waikato Stud for $140,000.
This colt has broken in with ease and hasn’t put a foot out of place since he’s been working under saddle. He will now have a month off before resuming work.
