Lot 2 from the Inglis Classic sale was the very first horse through the ring, and arguably the best value ! He is by a sire that needs no introduction, Nicconi. Nicconi is the sire of the world’s fastest racehorse, Nature Strip, and our colt shares many of the Champion Sprinter’s attributes!

Our colt is the first foal out of the fast, 4 time winning race mare Queen Ablaze. Queen Ablaze is a daughter of Exceed and Excel mare Queenin Caper, who is a half sister to Champion filly and multiple Group 1 winner Victory Vein. This is the same family as multiple Group 1 winner Shadow Hero.

Our colt was born and bred at Goodwood Farm, the same farm who in recent years has produced Dance Hero, Rebel Dane, Flying Artie and Private Eye. Goodwood is a small farm with an incredible record of producing Group 1 winners, and hopefully this colt is the next. He will join the team with Annabel Neasham, and Annabel thought he was the perfect colt to get up and going early, and hopefully target the $2m Inglis Millennium.

This colt is now on sale. The share price includes purchase price plus GST, 12 months insurance, Nomination fee for the $12.5m Inglis Race Series, all registration and syndication costs, BOBS bonus fee, all vet and bloodstock costs, breaking in fee, all transport, spelling and vet expenses, and a contribution to our Horse Welfare Trust, and all other associated costs until the 1st of June 2023.
