We are delighted to offer opportunities in this King’s Legacy grey colt purchased at the Magic Millions 2024 Gold Coast Yearling Sale for $160,000 in partnership with Australian Bloodstock from the Coolmore Stud draft.

Australian Bloodstock rated this colt as one of the top lots of the Magic Millions January Sale with a 90% ranking on the biomechanics chart it applies to yearlings.

This colt is in the 1st crop of outstanding young sire King’s Legacy, a dual Group 1 winner as a 2yo in the ATC Sires Produce Stakes (1400m) & ATC Champagne Stakes (1600m).

As a 1st season sire, King’s Legacy was very highly rated by agents & trainers at the sale, resulting in 27 yearlings sold at an average of just under $160,000.

There looks to be plenty of strength in this colt’s family with a Group 1 winner of the New Zealand Oaks closely related to the dam.

Looking at the mating, Redoute’s Choice (sire of King’s Legacy) has worked very well with mares by Encosta De Lago (grand-sire of Light Mover).

This colt could develop to be a 2yo sprinter that is also versatile to become a 3yo classics prospect over a mile.

He is nominated for the Magic Millions Race Series giving him a chance at the many big money Magic Millions races in his career. Hailing from a 2yo family, the Magic Millions 2YO Classic will certainly be on our radar in 2025.
