Strong, handsome, athletic and correct, the colt physically resembles his maternal grandsire, the legendary
sire of sires Redoubte’s Choice.
Redoute’s Choice was described as the rarest of thoroughbred horses, who exceeded even the lofty
expectations of his glorious physique, powerful pedigree and brilliant racing career, to become a world-
class stallion, a sale-ring sensation, a dominant sire of sires & broodmares and a major influence for years
to come.
The colt carries a double cross of Danzig and his pedigree page is bursting with Champion precocious,
tough, speed producing sires (Better Than Ready, More Than Ready, Redoubte’s Choice, Bel Espirit,
Vain etc).
The colt’s sire Better Than Ready is a bountiful source of winners. He is the current Queensland
Champion Sire, Champion 2YO Sire and was ranked third Australian Champion 2YO Sire finishing
closely behind super sires I Am Invincible and Snitzel.
Better Than Ready set a Queensland record with his progeny amassing a seasonal prizemoney haul of
$11.4 Million last season. He is the sire of 10 individual stakeswinners, including Skirt The Law winner of
the prestigious Magic Millions 2YO Classic, Group 1 winner APACHE CHASE, Group 2 winner

The colt’s dam Louisiana Miss (Redoubte’s Choice) is an unraced daughter of multiple Group winner
GABBIDON (Bel Espirit). The colt’s female line is strong with group performers including two Champion
