We are delighted to add lot 568 to the team from the 2023 Gold Coast Magic Millions sale. This colt is by outstanding first season sire Brutal.

Brutal was the real deal on the race track. He won the Group 1 Doncaster as a 3yr old, 2 weeks after running second to Winx in the Group 1 George Ryder at WFA. As a 4yr old, he returned to the track in emphatic fashion, winning the Group 2 Premier, which was a key lead up to The Everest. Brutal was the ultimate sprinter / miler !

Our colt is the first foal out of a stakes performed Mossman mare in Zavance. Zavance was a 3 time winner, placed in the Group 3 Sunshine Coast Guineas. Zavance is a daughter of Tibbie Stakes winner Shalimar Sky, and is a half sister to Group 3 Godolphin Crown winner Nancy.

Our colt is by a first season sire, the first foal of his dam, and is bred by Glenlogan Park. These 3 attributes are identical to our star colt The Novelist, who (at the time of writing) is a Group 3 winner already and Australia’s fastest 2 yr old this season.

This colt is paid up for both of Australia’s best bonus systems, QTIS and BOBS. He will be trained on the Gold Coast by Trent and Toby Edmonds.

The share price for our colt includes purchase price, 12 months insurance until the end of Jan 2024, the lucrative Magic Millions Race Series, all registration and syndication costs, BOBS bonus fee, QTIS bonus fee, all vet and bloodstock costs, breaking in fee with Matt Vella, all transport, spelling and vet expenses, and a contribution to our Horse Welfare Trust.
