Bio
This strong looking filly was purchased at the Karaka sale for NZ$150,000 from Little Avondale Stud. A farm that has bred over 41 individual Group One winners over the years.
The sire of our filly Per Incanto, he enjoyed early success in his stallion career and the Group-winning son of Street Cry, sire of the champion mare Winx, has subsequently gone onto establish himself as one of New Zealand’s elite sires.
From modest beginnings, his service fee was first set at $4000, Per Incanto rose to be champion first season sire by winners and runner-up in the 2YO premiership in 2014-15. A year later he was crowned champion 3YO sire by winners and champion second season sire by winners, defeating the decorated Savabeel for the former title.
His Group One winners include Dal Cielo, Shadows Cast, Santa Monica, Bonham, Roch “N’ Horse, Little Brose and Beclare.
With progeny earnings in excess of NZ$65 million, he boasts an impressive career winners to runners percentage above 65% and nearly 5.4% stakes winners to runners. In Asia, he boasts a 757% winning strike rate.As of March 15, this filly has completed her education and will head to the paddock and spell for approximately 8 weeks.
